With the return of spectator and specific requirements, the game against Swallownest was swapped to Steels home the newly renamed Eco-Power Environmental Stadium. This was Steels first game since lockdown and allowed the club to put into practice social distancing measures ahead of our first competitive game against Stalybridge Celtic. Steels took a first half lead through Luke Mangham in the 40th minute. However Swallownest equalized shortly after half time from then penalty spot thanks to Tyler Bradley. Steels couldn’t find a winner and the game ended all square.
