Steels traveled to fellow South Yorkshire side Athersley Recreation to continue their pre season games. Steels put 4 past Athersley without reply in the first half with goals coming from Liam McFayden, Lewise Whitham, Reece Fielding and Luke Mangham. In the second half Josh Nodder added a 5th goal in the 50th minute before Thomas Foltyn-Brown netted a consultation in the 85th minute.
