Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Charlie Oglesby from Staveley Miners Welfare.
The 25-year-old defender could very easily have been dubbed as Mr Staveley for his loyalty to the NCEL side. He has been with them for over six years and has been a rock in their defence during that time. Last season despite being a defender, he was able to score four goals.
Now though, Oglesby has left Inkersall Road and will be signing on with Stocksbridge this season. He will be looking to bring the same resolve he showed while at Staveley which should quickly make him into just as much a fan favourite at Bracken Moor as he was at his former team.
