Prolific goalscorer Joe Lumsden has become the latest player to sign an extension for the upcoming season. He currently sits in 5th position on the all-time goalscorers list and also holds record for most goals in a season with 34.
Joe Lumsden returned to the club for his second stint last summer and was able to show the fans what they were missing while he was at Pontefract Collieries. The striker scored three goals during the shortened season despite carrying and injury that required surgery that got delayed due to COVID and fans will be delighted that he will be returning to the Eco Power Environmental Stadium for another season. As well as facing Pontefract this season, Lumsden will also get a chance to face another one of his former clubs in the shape of Tadcaster Albion.
