Elliott Walker has left Stocksbridge Park Steels and has signed for Mickleover.
Walker came through the Doncaster Rovers academy before his release in 2020. He’d then play for Rossington Main before signing for the Steels last summer after a successful trial. The right back played plenty of games this season for the Steels.
Now though, Walker has completed a move to Mickleover and will jump up a league to the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
After the move was completed, Stocksbridge manager Ian Richards said: “We wish Elliott the very best at Mickleover.
“It was an opportunity and offer that he couldn’t turn down as a young player learning the game in non-league football.
“It has been great to work with him and he knows he is welcome back at the club anytime.”
