Chairmans Pontefract Notes

After two good wins in the week it was frustrating not to play last Saturday especially when all the team and some supporters had arrived at the ground , but the weather is something we can’t control, and unfortunately Tadcaster suffered further flood damage on the Sunday and we wish them well with their clean up operation.

Although we collected three points against Sheffield to make it three wins out of four, there was still a bit of disappointment in our performance and I think that shows the changes in attitude that is running through this side at the moment with everybody working hard to achieve success.

Attendances have been down over the last two games but that is understandable given the conditions we had to play in and the fact there was plenty of sport to be  enjoyed on the television, hopefully this week will see you all back at the Eco-Power  to cheer the lads to a victory, it has been great this season to see not only a lot of new faces but also the regular supporters who have been coming for years, tell your friends and family about us and let’s see if we can get even more support here before the end of the season.
